January 22nd, Churchill’s Pub put together this fabulous group of punk/post punk bands.

The Ticks

I’m always down to watch the Ticks play since their crunchy sound keeps getting better and better, but the real stars were the all-girl Snakehole.  Riot-girl inspired but without the empowering lyrics.  They’d much rather tell you about bloody genitalia then admit they’re feminists.  Fun and flirty with an edge.  I dig.
Tyvek didn’t make much of an impression on me.  I rather enjoyed watching the singer fall on his ass, but when doesn’t that happen at a punk show?  Check out some pics below.
